Is it possible to become physically dependent to adderall?

Swim didn't think that it was possible to become physically dependent to amphetamine, only psychologically dependent. But lately swim has been experiencing withdrawal symptoms after not taking adderall. He has had terrible headaches, drenching cold sweats, and tremors in his hands... these symptoms are worst during comedown and gradually dissapate after a day or two. At first swim thought the headaches were probably caused from dehydration so he been drinking lots of water but that doesnt seem to help. Swim is going to take a break from adderall for a few weeks to see if these symptoms go away.
