Arrow GABA and Yerba Mate Tea - To Health and Vitality

SWIM recently put the booze down for the first time in months and went through the usual suffering period. This time was different however, because he discovered the relief that GABA can bring in that time of need.

Now sobered up and normal, this morning he made about 8 cups of Yerba Mate tea in the coffee maker. He's not much of a morning person so making tea on the stove was not high on his priority list we'll say. The tea was a little bitter but no stronger than typical coffee.

The effects are perfect for SWIM. It wakes up the mind and body but does not have a stimulating effect like coffee. There is a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine in the tea but it is quite small. The best part is Yerba Mate has MORE antioxidants than green tea. Mixing the two together might not be a bad idea...

SWIM took 500mg of GABA in a capsule about 20 minutes after having brekfast and finishing his first glass of tea. Approximately 20 minutes after that the effects of the GABA were apparent.

SWIM is awake and alert, but not at all stimulated. He is also calm and relaxed, and not at all sedated.

This is something SWIM will be doing every day for the rest of his life - which may be longer due to the fact GABA causes the brain to release more Human Growth Hormone and lower stress and blood pressure.

SWIM did read one comment that Yerba Mate can cause cancer. He thinks it's a load. Just like they say about coffe and a million other drinks. Here's the link to that one:
