Natural resistance? Or promethazine.
SWIM found some wild codeine, and gathered up a dose of 40-100 mgs. He is a first time user and downed the promethazine/codeine mix. He felt very little difference post-codeine, and largely felt ... sedated. He has no doubt promethazine had an effect, but he seemed to not get much else beside sedation... A 40 mg dose would have been noticable? If it was 100-120mg as SWIM thinks possible, would this lack of effect also be probable?
He is 150lb, 6', takes a daily amphetamine, lisdexamphetamine 70mg. (which would have started to slope the withdrawing side of his activity curb by T + 30).
Also, SWIM has a slightly roaming psychosomatic pain in his neck, ( to a lesser extent, additionally in his back) which seems to get increasingly noticible as SWIM thinks about it. IE when he spends >20 minutes researching opiates and thinking about switching to one, his neck slowly increases in pain. Codeine did seemingly very little to negate this pain, and SWIM found it even worse after injestion(placebo, much). Would a pain like that be negated much by valid opiate dose? SWIM also notes that his pain has become less and less prevalent (Thanks, amphetamine), but even while decently high on cannabis his pain could present itself; and back when he first noticed taking any substance caused it to spring up, THC would make has neck shoot into pain.
Post-Also : The bottle was a 6:10 ratio with promethazine and Codeine, SWIM read online this is normally 10mg codeine : 6mg promethazine (per 5 ml). Could the inverse ratio also be prescribed, thereby making swims codeine intake estimation halved?
Thanks, and sorry if there a huge guide somewhere... I was hoping to get some reports from multiple users.
