Injecting - IM valium "trip report"

SWIM is approximately 280 lbs, extremely athletic. SWIM was recently intramuscularly injected with 1 ml (5mg) valium solution by hospira. target muscle was in the lower arm (not the best spot), caused a great deal of swelling, after a few hard slaps and a few minutes the swelling had subsided and SWIM began feeling very calm. swim compared it to a mere 10 mg pill of diazepam, but certainly more fast acting.

SWIm finished off the 2 mg vial for a total of 10 mg. material was injected into the right hamstring, nowhere near as uncomfortable. again....seems more central, but not much stronger than oral consumption of pills.

SWIM ended up using two vials, 2 cc each, with a one cc syringe injecting a cc (5 mg) into four different muscles. swim has since felt as though hes consumed 40 mg of valium. the feeling has not let up, and a few of the muscles used are still sore the day after. in essence, though not much stronger than pills it seems to have a much longer halflife when administered intramuscularly.
