D-amphetamine tablets and caps

Swim is curious what the big difference is between the 5 mg IR Dextro- amphetamine tablets and the XR capsules .. obviously swim knows that one is extended and one is instant any information would be great. Also swim was wondering how this compares to Adderall and which one swim would prefer.
