Overdose - Adderall first time. PLEASE help

hi,
I have never taken adderall before. and this was my first time. I took a 30 mg XR adderall AT 5 aM. It worked great but around 1 i feltl ike it was starting to wear off. So i took one more 30 mg XR. ANd 4 hours later. my hear rate was 177. i felt CRAZy aniexty, agitation. couldnt stand without shaking. i just lied down took 2mg lorazepam and fell asleep. Fastforward today morning, wake up. Its 26 hours later than the first dose and about 19 hours after first dose and my heart rate is still 130. And this is resting heart rate in my bed. If i get up to poop it goes higher.


PLEASE help. is this normal. how long will the effect last or have i damaged myself.

Relax, you'll be fine! You just took a high dose of a strong stimulant that has a fairly long duration of action normally, which combined with the extended release mechanism makes for extended effects.

You're heart rate should be back to normal in 24-48 hours or so.

maybe my blood pressure is dropping. Do u think its possible that i m bleedin internally?? I was having cramps in my abdomen too last night cause of the adderalll

the effects are still lingering?? i feel pretty dizzy if i stand up and walk ot the bathroom. so i m just sitting on my bed studying.

When the effects wear off you'll probably be tired for a day or so, and maybe feel a little less than 100%. Why would you be bleeding internally? If you suspect anything major is wrong you could and perhaps should seek medical help. Remember one of the possible effects of amphetamines is paranoia.

Oh, and you should probably read the forum rules and not self-incriminate. Talk about your cat using adderall or some such, or use SWIM (someone who isn't me) as most people do.

SWIMS got a super super important test in 24 hours. the test is 9 hours long.

What should swim do?

If the pulse returns to normal by tonight and swim feels tired as hell and hungry, should he wake up tomorrow, and take a 30mg XR in early morning and just have that last for the rest of the day?


Oh and swim forgot to mention he was on Proton pump inhibitor and took 100 mg caffeine pills about 4 tiems with the adderall.. Thanks for the help swiny

Cause swim felt great on 30 mg... Xr, until he took another 30 mg XR and then it was over.

on a side note SWIMS penis is also shrunkennnnnnnnnnn like a lot, and swim tried to watch porn during the good high but 0 erection. is this normal?

Dont take caffeine pills with adderall!!!! Adderall (amphetamine) is already a powerful stimulant, much more powerful than caffeine. Combining the two could be potentially dangerous, expecially to someone with no tolerance to speed. To swim, adderall feels like caffeine - times 10. Taking caffine with addy will only intensify the negative effects such as increased heart rate/blood pressure.

Does Swiy (someone who isnt you) plan on using adderall for study purposes or for recreational purposes? Either way 30mg of xr should be plenty for a first timer. If swiy plans on using for recreational purposes, he should crush/chew the adderall - doing this disables the extended release of the adderall, so all of the amphetamine salts hit the system at the same time which results in a much more intense euphoria... The only drawback to chewing/crushing the pill is that the high only lasts 4-6 hours compared to 9-12 hours noncrushed. But swiy should take the pill whole for study purposes.

Swiy asked if having trouble getting "up" was normal... yes it is but, wacking off is swims favorite thing to do when he's sped on adderall because the climax feels 100 times better . Sometimes it takes a couple hours but it is completly worth it, lol.

If swiy ever gets nervous and paranoid again when on adderall, just stay calm. Worrying only makes the bad symptoms worst and increases heart rate. Swim learned this the hard way. He went completly overboard and took 180mg right before track practice... not a good idea. His heart was pounding and beating irregularly. He could hear it beating and feel it beating in his forehead. Swim thought that he was dieing and started to have a panic attack, which only made things a lot worse. Swim will never take that much ever again and never take it before excersising.

Sorry if swim was rambling... adderall makes swim talkative (he just took 90mg ).
