Prescriptions for pet?

Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct section,

My pet hampster tells me that his pet labrador gets very nervous when he takes her to the vet, so much so that the vet always recommends putting my hampsters pet dog on some drug like prozac or valium. Up until now, my hampster has told me he hasnt got any prescriptions but he is now wondering if he could get a prescription and use it for his own consumption?

My hampster tells me he is aware or the legal issues associated with this, he is more interested in knowing if it would be safe for his own consumption. Could my hamster eat valium/other drugs from a vet clinic?, would it be any different to that you would get from a doctor?.

He also wants to know if there are any other drugs he could get for his dog next time he visits the vet that holds recreational value, as he is sure he could get anything he asks for (the vet is very persistantand always spends 10 minutes bugging my hampster to buy a prescription every visit)
