Based on the fact that cannabis is an herb, and the fact that you can smoke it, TCPH once realized that the logical conclusion is that you can smoke herbs. Fact.

So he proceeded to try rolling up some peppermint, and smoking it, as this was the first herb that came to mind. Also due to the fact that menthol is used in cigarettes for it's cooling effect. See: Peppermint. It was fantastic, by the way.
So the question remains, what else can one smoke? Some would say that one could smoke any leaf or plant material, but I can think of plenty one would not want to smoke, like grass clippings, lemon peels, and Canadian maple leaves.
And an even more interesting question remains, what makes an herb smokeable? (I added that word to my firefox dictionary.) Is there something in many plant leaves and or buds that just gives one a splitting headache? Etc, Etc.
