Dextromethorphan (DXM)

I'm quite surprised not to see any specific forum DXM related....


I'm not a robohead (first cuz I'm french so we don't call it robo, then because I use psychedelic booze, and, eventually because... I'm not!), but I think there is no "loser drugs" (right, sniffin' paint might be some kinda loser attitude, but it's better to be a loser knowing what you are doing thant just a loser, ain't it?), and moreover, getting high on codeine seems to me, if not more, at least as lousy as getting high on cough syrup.


Moreover, I guess statistically DXM is a lot more used and abused than Salvia divinorum, which has its own forum...

I think that a forum on Dissociatives which cover DXM, Ketamine and PCP is a good start. I agree with you that DXM should have it's own forum, but that will happen when enough posts on DXM are in the Dissociatives forum.

Hey! I am new to this forum, I found it through Google forums. Stuff about dxm is everywhere, you just have to know where to look. I agree though, there is more on the other subjects. DXM is mostly new to people. I found out about this a few days ago it was the besttrip I've ever had, and I must say the agent lemon method is so much more safer. You boil the ammonia out. The trips are great. I hate the coming down part, like all drugs; it's the hardest part of the overall experience!!! The up side is the plateus you reach, no burning anywhere. The taste is gross though. If you have stomach problems, keep some Pepto handy; just incase.!!! Sometimes this stuff makes your gag reflexes act up. Also chill it before hand. Your final product will be liquid. I take it and put it in a med dropper and take 2 1/2ml.and swallow. Have pop or something else near by to chug real quick; this tastes bad!!!! This may not seem like a lot but once theeffects kick in, it's well worth the wait!!! The more you take the highter plateus you reach. Be patient though, they can blend togher if you take more than one dose at a time!! The different levels are great, mild euphoria, too disascciation of the body from the mind. If at all possible, try to be with someone you can trust; you never know when a bad trip will happen. Youcanfeel the music you listen to, you can see colors. Try too be around positive people because, believe it or not you can actually feel anything negative as a weight, it sucks!!!! These trips last 10 or more hours. I weigh 94 Lb. around there so, most people would diide there body weight to figure out how much to take. The final plateau is in and out of consciousness, I almost was there but not the pass out part. I was on level 4. You can feel your body vibrate at times. As a suggestion, I wouldn't take anything else with this, it's pure DXM. It can be lethal!!!! You want a safe trip not a permanent one. Always listen to your body. You can get chest pain with this, it's a mild form of tachyardia. ut it's best to have the help if you need it. You get a jackhammer feeling that comes over your body once you are coming down and try to sleep(done at night). That's the worst. Oh!!Most important!!! Please don't drive on this stuff. You have a major impairmentofjudgement and senses. Better to be safe than sorry I know I drive also Keep your money for more important things!!!! peace out and have fun!!!! For an estimate my fiancee is about 165lb., that's small for guy; I know but it's the tolerance we're talking about!!! Around 10 ml. med. dropper should do ya!!!! Later!!

You all have to make sure that the anticough medicine u swallow only consists of DXM as the active part, otherwise you can get into deep serious shit.


overhere we have capsules called dampo, which will leave no hangover no flashbacks not of that kind of shit at all, its clearly safe, but only if ur not having any mental illnesses.


and it surely shouldnt been taking when you're depressed or having a depression, the stuff can ruin your life if you do.

I have read of people getting addicted to it, but I think its pretty rare; I mean pretty much any drug is potentially addictive; I know people who have used mushrooms habitually for a time.

I agree, anything giving a better than normal feeling can be addictive, even sex. But back to the original topic: In my opinion DXM should have its own library, or some establishment. DXM changed my life so much, I can not even begin to explain. Without sounding elitist or whatever the word, I believe DXM took me from the average, somewhat ignorant, person to an insightful independent thinker. Perhaps this is a normal part of growing up, which happened to me during the DXM days, I am not sure, but it looks to me like many people never get this way. Has anyone else ever had that feeling where you could go through a list of people you knew well and say: this person is still in a shell of partial ignorance, and this person knows theirself and is intellectually developed.

I agree that this shit is addictive, seems how i find it very hard to get through a day without dosing myself. I can be very overpowering at times.I have recently found myself wakeing up in the middle of the night, in a dream like state and dosing myself, which can be an intense way to wake up by the way. And i do feel foryou eric, i am going through the same shit. It sounds like you have been addicted to it a little longer than i have,but i understand that dxm can be a serioushabbit. i'm sure its here somewhere but i havent got time to look now (been babbling on a ritalin high) how much dxm do u need for a decent high normally. i can get real easily cough lozenges with the only active ingredient being 5mg of of dextromemortham (not sure of spelling) hydrobromide. as well as glucose or something i guess. are these usefull? wots the best wayto go about using them? thanks

I definately think it is pretty addictive. I started out with robotussin and
wanted to do it all the time but I had some good friends who wouldnt let
me and convinced me that it wasnt the best idea to be doing daily. Then
about a year ago I got the pure powder and found myself again wanting
to do it all the time until we ran out and all the websites I knew of were
closed. Now, Im back in the search but plan to moderate my use.

DXM = dextromethorphan



DXM is a very powerful, mind opening drug. It can also be very
dangerous if caution isn't used. I experienced a lot of
interesting thoughts, creativity, and bonding with close friends.
Your experience is very related to your dose. Also, a lot of
people do not like DXM.



The drug is a cough suppressant found in cough pills and syrups (don't
know which ones are avaliable to you, since you live in NL). It
is also avaliable as a freebase powder, although I can't tell you how
to obtain it on this forum. For a first time user, I would
suggest somewhere around 200-250mg DXM, depending on weight and prior
drug experience.

Okay...seriously I see this quetion asked over, and over, and over
again. If your gonna ask the same damn question, ATLEAST do a bit of
research on it first, erowid.org is a good start. And if you dont want
to look it up in there, just look around the forums.
