Effects - Marijuana and effect on (color) vision

Hey dudes,

Swim has thought for a long time that his color vision noticeably improves while he's high. Colors seem brighter, more rich, more intense in tone and quality. He also believes he is more able to distinguish between colors, and when he bikes around things just look more incredible and vibrant. Is this actually happening, or does swim just THINK he's seeing colors more vividly?

Also, does anyone happen to know of an online "color distinguishing test" where extremely close shades of colors are displayed next to each other? Swim would like to try and verify these effects.

EDIT: Marijuana certainly increases art appeal and aesthetic appreciation for sure. For example, every time Swim plays Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 when high, he's like "OMFG! These graphics are INCREDIBLE!"

However I am referring to the actual change in the way your brain interprets colors, and if it heightens that sense.
