Effects - Question about LSD effecting you even after the "trip" is over...

Hey there, alright so here is the little story about SWIM... And yes, it is a true story.

Swim dreams three months before the actual event happens, that he/she is seeing faces change, differ, and/or are two-faced. The house he/she is in seems fake like a set on a t.v show, he/she feels like they are going to be "Punk'd" or that he/she is being conspired against by every one there. The main person being a name, he/she doesn't know. The dream is forgotten.

Swim finally decides to experiment with LSD, with a group of friends. These friends are all experienced with drugs and he/she are completely comfortable with every one else there. In fact, he/she is interested in one of the people and they are also accompanied by a relative that is very close to them. This was about July-August of 2008 and was the first time ever messing with L. Swim takes "2" hits, turns out that they were doubled. So first dosage, was 4 hits of L and he/she doesn't feel anything for a couple of hours. There are no hallucinations, but a very good "body high." Almost like one of the descriptions of Ecstacy, intensifying the body's senses. Swim decides after a few hours pass that he/she will take a few more... The hits turn from 4 to 12.

The "trip" is going well for a while and then, all of sudden the mind seems to drop the ball and hallucinations begin to happen. The one he/she is interested in seems to keep changing, into a half face and body. Almost deformed in a sense, people are looking pale and seeming to look dead, the trip is very intense and continues to descend downward as the night goes on. Swim is only able to look at his/her sibling, the people around her are morphing but still remaining slightly the same. One person looks like the devil, which isn't as bothersome because they kind of look like that all the time. Another, looks like a demonic jester and the other is deforming at a constant rate into someone that looks deformed or two people in one body and face.

The whole night, people sound angry at certain moments. Swim begins to freak out, the friends sitting at the dining room table are drawing but the hallucinations create a vision of them smoking from crack pipes (something Swim has never seen,) seeing smoke, smelling smoke and weird hooka looking tubes have sprouted from the walls, creating a sewer looking appearance near the walls or possibly a factory resembling area. Swim begins to hear things that are not being said, starts to believe that people are conspiring against him/her. He/she believes that they are playing tricks on him/her, but when she/he tries to sleep they can't. Then, in the morning there's the invisible man that follows Swim around and still believes that every one, now even his/her sibling, is conspiring against them. Swim is now changing as well, body and face but only on a half.

Finally, they return home and Swim goes to sleep through out the entire day and things seem back to normal. Even though the trip had ended, Swim continously "relaspses" the trip. It attacks with certain people and it really worries and freaks them out... The hallucinations still appear occasionally and become bothersome, but there slight moments and then Swim is uncomfortable and worried it will happen again so he/she distances themself from the people that it occurs with.

The main question is: Is there a way to detoxify your body to remove this consistent relapse? How could you convince your mind that this is reality and not all set up to screw you over? Or is there really no way of helping it and is Swim stuck, unhappily incapable of touching any one he/she cares for? (Other than family and close friends.) Please, please, please help. Thank you... Oddly enough, Swim is the still suffering and his/her sibling is not.

I am going to continuously be checking this so please, any information will help me out. Also, any thing that is easy to get your hands on that could help this situation, please state it. Thank you, once again!
