Combinations - Alepam (Oxazepam) and Valium (Diazepam)

SWIM has been prescribed both Alepam 30mg and Valium 5mg.

Swim hasn't taken these together before- or that swim can remember.

Are there any risks taking these together?

SWIM should also add that SWIM has had 1000mg of Tramamdol SR.
SWIM is ment to take my zyprexa aswell.. but someone said that zyprexa which is olanzapine{SP} shouldn't be taken in conjunction with tramadol as it can cause convulsions?
Strange that SWIM's doctor would prescribe them to SWIM all at the same time, however this is the doctor that reminds SWIM of doctor nic from the simpsons. she gives SWIManything and everything...

SWIM is off to the dental hospital for about 3 hours of work to be done, SWIM hates the dentist, so at the least SWIM could be spinning whilst trying to count all them holes on that darn ceiling lol.

I don't know about olanzapine and tramadol specifically but i have read that tramadol itself can lower seizure threshold which makes a seizure more likely to occur. If olanzapine does the same thing then it is possible a seizure would occur.

As for oxazepam and diazepam together, well there shouldn't be any major interaction between the two, they are both benzodiazepines and both act in a very similar manner. The only thing the two together would do is increase the effects, it would really just be like taking an extra diazepam or an extra oxazepam (dosage dependent).
