Question about Accuracy of Drug Tests

Hi there.



I just recently spent 4 (excruciating) weeks off of pot in order to
pass a drug test (Urinalysis). I haven't done anything else. And now I've got a few
questions and I was wondering if yall could help me out.



1. 4 weeks, is it enough? - I've been told this is plenty of time, but the more assurance I have, the better



2. Is it possible that they will fuck up and I'll have to retake it
after the weekend? Because I plan on toking up on Friday (Celebratory )
and the drug test is on Thursday. Is there any possibility that I'll
have to retake for some reason again? I've heard that there can be fake
positives, and things of that nature, and I'd like to rather be safe
then sorry.

There are a number of factors that determine the outcome of a drug test, but for most smokers, 4 weeks should be enough time to pass. Try not to use the first piss of the day and you should be fine. I have never heard of them having to retake a piss test but I'm sure anything is possible. You should be the judge on that. False positives can be caused by such things as poppy seeds. The answer to your first question has to do with many, many things. No one can really anwser that without asking a host of questions.

I think this info would be very helpful in anwsering your question. As for your 2nd question I've had to take 3 drug test in my life and I have never once been asked to be re-tested ever. In fact I've never heard of that happening for urine test. They don't use all the urine for your test, so I believe they would have some extra if they needed it, inc case of some mistakes. The only exception to this I believe is that if you really watered down the sample by drinking tons and tons of water. Maybe the specific gravity might come out werid. Something of that sort.
