I'm making this topic right now to show my great appreciation for the
great plant that this earth blesses us with. Don't you love it when you
have a horrible day and nothing seems to be going better, then you just
sit back at night when you get home, light up a blunt, take a bong rip, whatever you please, and
your worries from the day seem to just suddenly dissapear? Weed will
always be there for you. It's not something like tripping your balls
off on acid, or chasing your first coke high again. Smoking feels good
at any time. It will always be there for you, no matter what. Mary Jane
is a wonderful woman, who I plan on spending the rest of my life with.
So everyone post here to show your great appreciation for marijuana!
Let it be known just how much you love it!

I find that not only is cannabis great to use recreationally, it's also a great "hobby". Since I've started smoking cannabis (just over six years now) I've read countless books, webpages and interesting pieces of information that I can use in so many ways. It occupies my time in a surprisingly positive way. I have no desire to commit crime (apart from occasional spot of small-time dealing) and I can use the information I've studied for all kinds of purposes, from educating others to studying History at university.

Mary Jane is my gal. I'm sure we'll have many more happy years togther. Here's for another six years (and another, and another ).

love to the 'erb!

you're right when you say it's a hobby ... but when people ask you
"what do you do with your spare
time" ... what do you say to that? ... I kind of shift around nervously
and dodge the question unless I know the person I'm talking to is cool
with it ... otherwise you could always come clean: "errm, well, I take
a lot of
drugs and pass out"

Yea people sometimes ask me what I do and what are my hobbies...well I have other hobbies lol but drugs seem to be my main one. I agree that it's a lifestyle, everything else seems to center around it. A characteristic of stoners I have noticed is that we are resourceful. It's actually a necessity when you think about it...my main example being ghetto rigged pipes from whatever is laying around (piece of tape + pen = pipe for bathroom at prom!).

my friends and i once made a pipe with nothing but a pocket knife and shit laying at the bottom of a quarry. haha, i was so proud of it. later my friend decided that we were gonna re-live world history and he started by making a hatchet out of a rock and chopping down a small tree. haha, now that's resourcful. not that it really accomplished anything, but it was cool.

Mary Jane is the true love of my life (2 this point) She makes me feel like nothing else i have ever experienced. She has gotten me put in jail, in trouble with my parents, thousands of dollars in fines, and she has ruined more that one relationship for me.after all of this i can honestly say that it is worth everything i have gone through. I love it. Great topic to discuss

marijauna caused me to appreciate the little things in life. Growing as
a child I was always in a hurry to grow up and become an adult, but the
closer i get, the more i look back and cherrish my past-times. One
marijuana experience brought tears to my eyes and extreme euphoria,
just because i was replaying my childhood to my present, and future..
It's really magical and I have no intentions of abusing it, or becoming
a chronic user or dependant, it could easily ruin its spark of magic.

I am happy that weed has changed me from the violent hating person I
was to the semi-hippy I am, and it has brought me closer to my best
friend, and not to mention how accepting and embracing the stoner
sub-culture is.

Marijuana ... my ticket to a better life.

Few things in the earth have the power to elevate a person's mood. Marijuana is one of those blessed things. For 1000s of years, people from many countries have been using Marijuana for their medicine. And for 1000s of years, these same people have received their healing (this stuff works).

Marijuana has (literally) saved my health. A few years ago, my life changed: I got Arthritis, in many joints. I took the "usual" medicines; they took SOME of the symptoms away (but they had side effects, and were pretty expensive).

Then I remembered: WOW!I've heard that marijuana works Well for Arthritis. I went out and "tested" this medicine.

The results were strong, and complete: It allows me to shift my attention to other things, and away from continually pondering my pain. This part of its effects is good enough, and yet there are more effects: Many more positive thoughts began to circulate in my mind.

So, the blessing is two-fold: (1) My body is at peace, and (2) my mind is (more) at peace. I am grateful that I have this wonderful herb to brighten up my life (YOU light up my life). Most people go looking for the few things they think are important in life. I looked for many years, finding bits of wisdom here-and-there.

Then I did one of the wisest things of my life: Use this herb. Use it to live a better life. I have found freedom ... Freedom from pain, Freedom from annoyance at the world, more Freedom to be that person I was meant to be.

I carry on a tradition that began 1000s of years ago. I carry it on with reverence. I carry it on with happiness. I am so lucky.

I work in an industry that brings me into peoples lives...when they are experiencing catostrophic events.

I see people at their worse..every single day.

This said....I often remember that the most dispicable actions I've ever seen humans take...have never been the Potheads.

I'm never dealing with someone in crisis based around some weed.

People who dance with MaryJane...and are faithful to her...are BY far some of the best people I've ever met. The get up in the morning...they go to work...they come home....they love their family....they hit the bong....have a munch...go to bed and get up the next day doing the exact same thing again. The best part is they are happy....so they feel no need not to just live...and let live. Thus...my point...making them better people.

Here's to there NEVER being one last dance with MaryJane
