Pharmacology - Is methamphetamine synthesis from Bupropion (Wellbutrin) possible?

A while back swim heard from someone on the street that synthesis of methamphetamine from Bupropion (Wellbutrin) pills was possible. This street swim also said that it was difficult and hardly worth the effort. Swim also spoke to a chemist one time and he said it was possible but would be extremely difficult, unnecessary, and an undesireable method since there are so many easier ways. Swim was wondering if anyone had ever gone this route. Swim has a bunch of 150mg XL Wellbutrin pills lying around no one is using and thought it might be worth learning about.
