UK - Charged With "Being Concerned In The Production of Drug"

Swim was wondering if anyone may have knowledge as to the outcome of the following scenario.

Swim was concerned with some coca extraction upto 6 months ago. At that point swim gave up and never attempted any more extractions.

Swim was then detained by the police claiming they had information that swim was currently producing class a drugs at home. Upon a home search police uncovered misc chemicals (acetone, HCL, etc) and documentation on how to manufacture cocaine HCL from coca tea.

Police never uncovered any illegal substances.

Subsequently Swim was charged with "Being Concerned In The Production of Drug".

Swim has a clean criminal record and was wondering what the likely outcome of this case may be. Is it a mandatory sentence or a would it be likely a fine may be the outcome.

Basically Swim admitted to attempting to produce (with little or no results as swim had no chemistry experience), plus there were personal circumstances at the time with Swims mental health and other family members passing away (not sure if this makes any difference to the Case or not)

Swim would appreciate any advice or guidance, swim is also visiting a lawyer asap.
