An excellent introductory book for the first time booze maker. Kania takes a low tech approach to the process, doing away with all the extra chemicals so often cluttering up modern techniques. Perfect for the person who doesn't have access to a brew supply store, as there are plans to make everything from your own bottling machine, malt drying cabinets, and even still.
He doesn't shy away from weird beverages either, recipes for chicha, kvass, and even fermented milk offer exciting projects for even the advanced brewer.
The distilling instructions are straightforward and complete, much easier to follow then say, a popular home distilling site, though it would be smart to do some deeper research before following through with experiments.
