Also there are no visual signs that swim can think of, as mdma is a white powder(well really crystals), but there could be pips that are exactly the same appearance as mdma, so other than licking it and seeing if its a bitter taste or a bitter then sweet taste, there is no other way of knowing, other than testing kits.

Piperazine pills tend to be thicker and harder than your typical ecstasy pill possibly with a finely-entrenched logo and a middle line in order to split the pills in two.
