GBL - Please describe

Could a seasoned GBLer please give me their take on this substance?

What does it most closely resemble?
Is it euphoric or introspective?
Shallow fun or deep and meaningful?

Thanks!

Re: GBL - Please describe

Seems, at times, to resemble MDMA or euphoric benzos.

'Tis euphoric, changes thought patterns - increased confidence, impulsiveness etc - similar to alcohol in that manner but much more lucid. Although I wouldn't decribe it as introspective. I'd describe it as a shallow kick, really.

I'd also recommend against using it as-is and converting it into GHB following one of the teks here on the board, because it can lead to addiction and GHB takes longer to induce the development of physical dependance. You should definitely do as much reading as possible about the substance(s) here on the board before SWIY considers trying it. Make sure to read the nightmare reports of withdrawal both here and on bluelight.

Good luck!

Re: GBL - Please describe

its affect on swim is most similar to mdma but not as buzzy. Its quite a shallow high, although like E it does seem to make people more friendly and outgoing (if they have'nt done too much).

The downside is that it is easy to over do it, there seems to be some potential for addiction and that being an acidic solvent it can play havok with your guts and kidneys if you do it too often!

Re: GBL - Please describe

The high for both GHB and GBL is best described as being intoxicated with varying degrees of euphoria.

GBL should not be ingested as is for a number of reasons. Horrible withdrawal issues being one of them. SWIM has a great deal of experience with both GHB and GBL and has never found himself suffering from any form of withdrawal. This is because he made sure to study as much as he could about it and has never gone 24/7 on it, nor ingested it with any other CNS suppressor such as alcohol. It's that simple. Ignorance kills.

Re: GBL - Please describe

My friend Lee Trago couldn't find anything positive about Gbl itself. It made him very very dizzy and nauseaous. Definately no euphoria, he couldn't understand what the fuss was about until he (second time around) made a succesfful conversion to NaGHB.

It's a lovely mellow euphoria, slightly disinhibiting but not with the stupefying effects of the sauce. Also feel mega horny which is nice.
