Reducing seizure potential while taking Tramadol
Swim used to really like taking tramadol. It was actually his favorite opiate because of the stimulation that accompanied the large amount of euphoria he used to receive. He would especially love lifting weights and playing football the morning after because he would be twice the athlete he was without them. Swim indulged in this opiate up until he learned of it's seizure threshold-lowering potential. It has now been two years since he last indulged in them and he now has the possibility of a large supply, 100 50mgs to be exact. He really wants to get these, but is terrified of the risk of seizure. Swim is simply wondering how he could reduce the risk of seizure while on this medication. Swim has little-no tolerance, so he is not going to be taking huge doses. Most doses will be between 200-400 mg. Swim realizes that most seizures occur over 400mg, but acknoleges that it is not completely unlikely for him to have one on a 200-400mg dose. Swim knows he should take precations such as not driving, and not exercising, but wonders if there is anything else that he could do. Specifically, swim was wondering if anti-seizure medications would help. Another one of swim's favorite drugs (yea the drugs that don't work for some always work for me) is Gabapentin. Gabapentin is an anti-seizure medication and swim is wondering if that would also help to reduce the risk. Other alternatives are benzo's that swim hates(yea i know i'm a wierd one right?). So all-in-all, Swim wants to know what will help to reduce the chance of seizure while taking tramadol. Thanks in advance for SWIY help.
