swine flu and salvia

Salvia divinorum is a sprawling perennial herb found in the Sierra Mazatec region of Mexico

it says this on erowid swim is wondering with this swine flu hitting mexico hard is it going to effect salvia meaning can the salvia be infected and does swiy think it is going to effect people in the U.S just curious
