Opinions - Pro's and Con's of swiy significant other also being a pothead

Swim's fiance is also a pothead and so is most of her family which makes things so much easier in most aspects of life. There's no uncomfortable leaving of room at christmas time to have a smoke at the back door or any of that other stuff that comes with in-laws and swim enjoys getting baked on the couch with his lady and going about his general stoney day knowing he is lucky to have an open minded partner.But on the other hand, instantly half swiy's weed is mentally claimed whenever eyes are lain on it as in all aspects of a relationship. Swim's weed only lasts half as long as it does when they are by themselves. Swim would never deny his lady any shmoke but swim remembers previous girlfriends that didn't smoke and his weed lasted alot longer. Opinions people

well it comes down to a couple different things in swim's opinion. Firstly if swiy really does like this girl then swiy should not really care if swiy has less weed. If swiy does however feel that swiy's relationship with weed is more important than with ur girl then tell her to buy her own shit or break up with her.

In swims opinion this is a really stupid question. IF swiy loves their fiance then swiy should not really care how much weed you have. also when you get married dont u split everything anyways like all her money and stuff too?

Also is it possible that since swiy has a partner that smokes maybe swiy is smoking more weed then u used to?

Just let her buy the weed the next time. SWIM usually shares his weed if there's someone around willing to smoke. If it's just two or three people smoking, it's no big deal. It would get annoying if a lot of people were constantly bumming smokes though.

swim thinks that its stupid to even think about that just because shes smoking more than half of your stash. its a little.. superficial, no offense swiy. if you really love her, you wouldn't care infact you would be happier because its making her happy; thats what i think. if you have a problem with your fiancee smoking up most of your shit, maybe you have a serious addiction problem... who doesnt? just tell her to buy her own or talk to her about it open up to her, period.

Uh yeah, Captain Obvious would point out that while SWIM is happy for you (see previous posts on this topic) that your lady-friend is taking advantage of you if she's not chipping in on costs. However, if you don't expect her to pay, you aren't allowed to bitch about it elsewhere.
Pretty cut and dry, if she is contributing, then what's the issue? If it means having to go visit Mr. Dealer twice a week instead of one, be smart, buy larger quantities to save a few dimes!!!

Well, SWIM has only been in one serious relationship, and both he and his significant other smoked pot.

Pros:
*High sex
*Shotgunning
*High making out
*High freaking everything
*If she has connections, she'll share
*No feelings of guilt/shame/regret/remorse!

Cons:
*You need to share (in some cases the majority of) yours

SWIM's girlfriend smokes as does her father, and it is very nice, SWIM would find it annoying if he dated a girl who didnt smoke as well. SWIM ends up buying most of the weed but he also ends up smoking most of it to and she does contribute plenty, both to booze and drugs. and she has some sweet connections through one of her cousins which is really nice....

the issue of the family also smoking is a little different though, and SWIM is not sure how he feels about it. SWIM and her have smoked with her dad before, and SWIM thought it was fine, though she thought it was awkward....

Swim must say you aren't grateful of what you have, Swim wishes he could find a nice, decent looking girl that smoked with him. Swim has found many of girls that don't mind him smoking, but swim would much rather find a significant other with whom he could get stoned. As for the lady laying claim on her stake visually, if your her fiancee she will be married to you soon enough and you guys will split everything down the middle, including bud and money for bud.

In all honesty this was meat to be a genuine light hearted topic on the pro's and cons . Swim feels that certain things have been blown out of proportion and the one con he put down seems to be what everyone has zoned in on. Swim didn't say in any way that weed was more important than his lady he stated he didn't have a problem with said fiance smoking his weed. If he did he just put some aside.Swim was just mildy daydreaming at the time about his relations past and present Swim was just wondering whjat other peoples views were like, not everyones views in relation to the first post. Swim was not aware his post had come across as a bitching session about his loved one.

SWIM's GF is the same as OP's. Problem being that as she is not a heavy smoker, she wont say "I want some gear" and therefore SWIM is the only one that buys it, but has to share it when he pays for it. SWIM is not made to, but doesnt wanna sit there and smoke infront of others that would like some too. SWIM agrees with you OP, SWIM would never pick his ganj over his girl, he just wishes shed put in for what she smoked every once in a while.

I think this is just the way of life with women tho, cant live with them, cant live without them!

HEY, SWIM is female durn it! SWIM actually pays for everything for her and her man-friend. She says man-friend, cuz they aren't to "putting a label on it" stage yet! While SWIM would love for him to chip in every now and again, she knew going into it that he had squat, so she can't really get upset about it. Don't get her wrong, she does sometimes, like this past weekend, he actually made $200 from a gig on Friday night and two teaching lessons on Saturday. Did he offer to give her anything? Hellz nah, as much as she wanted to say something, she didn't. SWIM makes good money and would spend it on it anyway, now she just has someone to play with, a pet if you will. hehe, SWIM is not saying all girls are the same, and not that its a "girl" thing to do, its not gender specific. SWIMS point is that when one person isnt heavily into smoking, to a point they wouldnt buy it on thier own, but they still smoke what SWIM buys. So SWIM gets stuck in a situation where he always pays.
