Other - help on maoi and ayahuasca

hi guys swimm want's to do ayahuasca with caapi and viridis...but swimm heard that there is a diet for maoi and is very important some sites say but a lot of other sites say that it doesn't effect you so....

what you think guys swimm should make the maoi diet??

if swimm don't make it, will have problems??

A good resource to check out before posting a question are the sticky threads that are in each forum - they generally cover basic questions pretty well, that's why they're sticky.

Another effective way to find what you're looking for is to use the search tags function - that'll help for you to know what other people have labeled their information so you can pick and choose from what's available.

On a quick note; any DMT-containing brew is inactive without an maoi. B caapi has a handful of active MAOIs such as harmine and harmaline. P. viridis has DMT in it. Read up on proper preparations and for and proportions of each of these (they should be prepared and ingested separately - caapi first, followed by viridis), and one should be able to experience psychoactivity. Extractions from chacruna are a bit more difficult than from mimosa hostilis due to the involvement of a de-fatting process, unfortunately.
