Salvia divinorum + Regular Lighter = Works

I always read that Salvia will only work if u use a Torch/Butane Lighter



Well last night i went to smoke a Bowl of Salvia 20x but was outta fluid for my torch Lighter



So i decided just to use my regular Bic lighter and had no problems
after 3 hits i was gone actually it was one of my most intense trips i
had yet

Yeah I've used salvia with a bic lighter on occasion before without problem, just hold the flame over the bowl for a few seconds.

if you are using 25x extract (or even 15x extact) then a regular lighter will work for most people.

but for regular foliage, a regular lighter will be uneffective for most people.

a regular lighter burns at a much lower temp, and therefore much more is wasted then if you used a torch lighter.

I regularly use a regular lighter and a regular pipe with 20X and it certainly does the job.

Yeah I have used a regular lighter before and it does work, just not as
well. I have also smoked salvia from a joint (if anyone cares) and that
does work also, but it took an entire joint get me messed up...which
was a waste.

Hey do you guys know something I don't about saliva? I've tried it about 3 times, even 15x extract and never got anything for it. No high, no seeing stuff, no anything. Am I doing something wrong here? Why am I not getting the same effects that you guys are? Was my saliva bunk or something?

I have used a bic lighter on 5X with no problem. A torch lighter is clearly more effective though, especially since it can burn all the material in a bowl in a much faster time. Use a bong though, cause the smoke is hot and harsh.

Yeah, I've only ever used a regular butane lighter, rather than a jet
lighter when smoking salvia. I've smoked both out of a pipe and out of
a bong, and though the pipe hits were harsher, the intensity was the
same. If you can't get a jet lighter, just use a regular one and
"torch" the bowl. I just hold the flame on the leaves and inhale
constantly until they burn bright yellow.<!--

I have only used a torch when smoking salvia outa a pipe. Every
time I smoked it out of a bong, I just used a bic lighter, and held the
flame to the bowl. It definitely did the trick.

I used a bic lighter on some 15x and it didn't do shit to me or any of my buddies. I guess that's the salvia's fault, though.

if you don't experience the desired effects; then follow the method you should.

I know I, and many others, have posted the proper way to use salvia.

it involves a water filtration pipe (bong), a torch lighter, and many hits if needed. you take deep hits, holding the torch flame to the leaf during the entire inhale, then hold the hit for the count of 20. seriously, this is the most important step. exhale, and repeat until you no longer can. (you must evaporate enough salvinorin a into your system in the appropriate ammount of time.)

it depends on long you the smoke in your lungs, not the kind of fire you put to it. I used a bic lighter on some driedsalvia leaves in the woods with some of my friends. when I exhaled I woke up in a super market. very unexplainable story in the woods. but any how we just used a regular glass pipe with a regular bic lighter. Iv done the same with pure salvia extract, reguler lighter with a bong and a metal pipe. well, every time I hold it in as long as I can I get some weird ass visions goin on and the more I do it. so the more thesalvia, the more you hold in the smoke, and the more you smoke, the better. thats how it works for me.
