Snorting - Lidocaine?

Aside from creating euphoria, coke is a great local anesthetic. If swiyou snort a bit before doing some 2C-x, for example, swiyou'll experience pretty much no pain (if swiyou've ever snorted a 2C-x swiyou know how much that means). But coke is expensive, and swiI figure for things like this lidocaine might make more sense (at xxx per gram), but swiI don't know much about its safety and the like, and Wikipedia and Google don't seem to either, at least not in any reference related to dosages. Anyone ever use lidocaine for this purpose? What sorts of doses start to cause health concerns? Would using procaine (novocaine) or benzocaine instead be safer or more effective? swiI haven't found anywhere to buy them as a pure powder (as swiI have lidocaine), but swiI've really only been looking for lidocaine. Any other advice?

Swim did some searching and found this thread someone showed about mixing Lidocaine with a bit of water and using it in nose-spray bottle:

A Fun way to take it is: Take an empty nose-spray bottle, clean it out, pour-in a couple Grams of Lidocaine, and a few CCs of water.

A couple squirts will send you off.

SWIs did this many years ago, and trip'd-out several Coke-heads at a Birthday party.

SWIM used to have some lidocaine, he would snort some before snorting yopo and other stuff that burned a lot. It would just take a small amount in each nostril and he would feel no pain in his nose despite how bad the normal burn is. Very convenient when swim had it, but it went missing one day and swim hasn't experimented with yopo since then despite having everything needed to prepare it except lidocaine.

Dosage wise swim would just try keeping it low, as he didn't measure it he just roughly tried stay under .5g but only using however much he needed for the desired numbing effect. Take to much and from what I've read rapid heartbeat and maybe a seizure sound most likely the bad ones swim would get if going above his dosage such as maybe 1-2g for him at least. SWIM usually takes benzodiazepines, so he would usually try to have at least some in his system when using the lidocaine since they seemed likely to negate most of the negative side effects that could happen, although swim doesn't ever recall actually getting negative feeling side effects from the lidocaine.

If swim recalls correctly while researching lidocaine he thinks he read on a forum for nurses/doctors discussion in which one was talking about injecting patients with pretty large lidocaine dosages, others were concerned saying his doses were way to high. The discussion was about some patients suddenly having these seizure type moments and getting disoriented, although after laying down for a little bit they would be fine and able to walk. I think the doses were maybe 1-2g injected, although swim read that a long time ago and is working off memory without a link to the text, doses could be lower or higher since swim's memory of the doses are pretty vague.

Cocaine is the ONLY psychoactive tropane from/related to the coca bush. Lidocaine is antiarrhythmic and local anesthetic, and that's all. If SWIY wishes to chance ODing attempting a high on a non-euphoric tropane, hell go for it.

Yeah, swim understands all of this. Swim was merely inquiring to anyone who might have some kind of knowledge pertaining to the idea of local anesthetics being snorted to ease the pain of snorting other chemicals. Having started this thread two and a half months ago, swim gets the idea that this is not something people seem to do, and swim does not intend to be the lab mouse.
