been playing around with 10 mg xr caps dose from 10 to 40 xr all orall

not much effect even yawning!! wtf???? then crushed 30mg, not much effect mininal focus, no high, next day crushed 40, same, next day 50, little better but swim is so disappointed with this "wonder drug" having opposite effect


ritalin in high doses 80 to 100 orally got swim nice and high though

does swim really have adhd?? all symptoms have been present for years

Maybe Swiy has a high tolerance to amphetamines/stimulants? Maybe swiy should wait a week or two and try again. Everyone reacts differently to a drug... Swim's doctor said that he has had patients that needed to start on 60mg of adderall xr just to help their ADD.

Has the patient tried taking them as directed? Are they using the drug instead of sleeping? Adderall may keep you up, but that doesn't mean it will be productive if you are already exhausted.

Tolerance is not an issue here, unless the patient has been using stimulants for an extended length of time.

Adderall doesn't Make you study, it gives you the potential to concentrate on something, and even that can be elusive. If you don't feel like doing work, all the speed in the world won't convince you to do it.

WTF?! SWIM thought she was the only one! Adderall doesn't do sh*t for SWIM either. But Concerta (which is pretty much exactly like Ritalin anyways) is AMAZING for SWIM, gets her SO high. SWIY has ADHD??? SWIM is bipolar, but has been wondering if she's ADHD since Adderall actually makes her CALMER. I wonder why Adderall doesn't get SWIM or SWIY high, but methylphenidate (both Concerta and Ritalin) does...? If you see this, please get back to me and tell me more about what you know about SWIY and her ADHD/Adderall/Ritalin cause it sounds so much like SWIM and her experience.

To add to this, the fact that you are abusing these drugs is not helping the situation. The doses are prescribed because they work at those levels, if you insist on "getting nice and high" then you are not going to have the intended effects, same with crushing the pills.

Doctors know what they are doing and maybe you aught to listen to them.
