Experiences - weird experience

SWIM did 2 cones last night from some pretty strong cannabis.

the first effects were normal, with the stoned feeling etc... but then swim went to bed and just chilled there when his whole body went into a trip, without the visuals (although it was like he could 'see' his imagination when he closed his eyes). he felt like he was in water at one stage and it was like he was at different places in the world as he thought about them.
Things got a little too intense so he decided to open his eyes

He then opened his eyes and everything was in slow motion which was a little scary since his breathing and movement was slow aswell, thinking speed was normal, so he was not sure if it was just in his head. This was very weird and SWIM wanted to get out of this in fear of hypoxia. he turned on the lights which 'alerted him' and he started to come to.

Every time he closed his eyes he started going back to this weird feeling.
So he made sure to stay alert he finally managed to fall asleep, a really weak sleep where he didnt know what was going on.

Swim then looked at the T.V (left on to keep attention on it) and there was a picture of a girl on the T.V, but SWIM saw it as some demonic creature for about half a second and was like WTF?! (he was not sure if he actually saw it as a hallucination, or if it was a pigment of his imagination). he then blinked a few times and saw the picture and was like man that was freaky shit, then just dropping his head on his pillow and falling asleep.

so yeah that was a very weird 'trip' for SWIM, as he had not yet tripped before, this kinda makes him want to postpone his hallucionegenic seeking, due to the fact that if weed was to intense, what is LSD gonna do? lol.

Has SWIY ever had this or a similar experience? could there be something else in his weed? (doubt it).

SWIM's had moments like this but has actually enjoyed them. It's what might be called a lucid experience which takes place in those early stages of sleep, sometimes even pre-sleep, given the right conditions. It's usually a pretty pleasant state to be in if you just let go and enjoy it. You won't stop breathing and you won't go crazy or anything. Think of it as an interactive dream.

SWIM did go with it until it got a little too intense.

But SWIM does regret not going with it further though, might have been able to go into a proper lucid dream.
