Health - CWE when sick

[Hamburglar]

SWIM has a head cold (mild sore throat, mild congestion, generally lethargic feeling). He has been taking care of his body (lots of fluids, plenty of fruits/vegetables, decent amount of rest).

He's wondering if doing his normal CWE dose (~250mg of codeine) would have any effect on his cold. He doesn't want to make it last any longer than it might otherwise.
