GBL - Damage to teeth??

swim is a frequent GBL user and wonders if, over time there is long term damage to the teeth? swim is concerned that regular daily use over several months may eventually strip swims teeth enamel?? Is this possible?

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

dirtybead,

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a pretty nasty effect - would you mind elaborating on the route of administration a little bit?

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

swim is not sure if this actually happens, swim just figured that something that is so powerful that is burns plastic and cleans metal, what the hell must it do to swims teeth? Having been a 24/7 user for around eight months and trying to wean off at the moment, swim woke up in a panic and thought of teeth?? Now hopefully swim is not going mad... but wonders if swiy had any info/knowledge of it causing permenant damage?

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

Withdrawals from G always make swim worry about one thing or another. More than the effect of gbl of swiy's teeth they should be concerned with getting out of 24/7 dosing. One thing is for sure, GHB has no negative effect on one's teeth. In theory converting gbl to ghb isn't that hard.

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

I doubt it. Unless you've got plastic teeth. Doesn't even seem to have an effect on caps/fillings.

Matter of fact, a mate of mine had a cap that would fall out every 3 months or so and have to be replaced, but in the year and a half since he began to use GBL, it's remained in place. Not necessarily related to GBL, but there you go.

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

well its quite acidic and in its neat form could do some damage, but most people dilute it so I would'nt think its a major problem. Swiy could always rinse the mouth with water after ingestion if they are worried about their teeth.

Re: GBL - Damage to teeth??

Better thing to do is to cap it in gelcaps. I stress gelcaps as vegecaps are dissolved by GBL quite quickly but gelcaps seem to last indefinitely.
