Experiences - ripped off?

Alright, so swim took a pill yesterday night and to be honest, either the pill was weak or his expectations were simply too high. Swim's pretty sure that it wasn't a dud, atleast not a complete dud, because his pupils were fairly dialated. For about 4 hours I felt more confident than usual and relatively happy, but honestly swim was expecting a lot more. He called his dealer after an hour and he said something along the lines of "if you think about it too much it won't kick in". Was that the problem? Because he was concentrating on it a fair bit. Or did he just get ripped off?
