codeine storage
swim just finished makin a cwe and ended up with about 75 ml of his "codeine" swim wanted to save this for tomorrow. so swim decided to put it in a waterbottle.swim also added maybe 250 ml of reguler water to that waterbottle just so it looks half empty and not suspicious murky and almost empty. so swim closed the waterbottle and put it in his fridge. will this save his codeine till the next day? also will adding more water to the solution do anything. swim thinks this shouldent have any effects as its just water. swims wonders what you guys do when you store codeiene over night or for longer periods. this is swims first time not consuming it right away so he wants ot make sure that the fridge is the safest place for the codeine, does it make a difference if its stored in a room at room temp overnight vs a fridge??

Re: codeine storage
I stored a bottle of pre made codeine in the fridge once and when i went to get it later on that day, (couldn't leave it lol) it had a white base on the bottom. not sure if this is paracetamol or codeine so u might want to give it a good shake before drinking it lol. Also if your keeping it in a fridge so it looks normal and inconspicious im asuming your not the only one with access to the fridge and in which case this may not be a good idea. U never know who might drink it accidently including young children.
HabitualCriminal added 1 Minutes and 14 Seconds later... Actually it wasn't me it was swim lol Last edited by HabitualCriminal; 17-04-2009 at 08:20. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Re: codeine storage
Only store things like this in the fridge if you a) live alone and b) no one enters your fridge except you and c) you are guarding it like your life against anyone possibly touching it. Otherwise if you only have mature and competent people in your life who can read and understand a poison label and you watch your fridge like a hawk. Otherwise just don't do it. Kids like to try new things and it happens every so often that someone is poisoned by another person's methadone or narcotics beverages. It is usually kids but almost anyone can be poisoned by not thinking first before grabbing a drink. My advice would be to store in a non drinking container labelled clearly "dangerous poison, fatal if drunk and crossbones" with multiple labels. Then place the container inside a box that is also labelled "dangerous poison, fatal if drunk and crossbones" with multiple labels on all sides of box.. This is only sufficient assuming that no children, incompetent or illiterate people are ever in your home while it is in the fridge.
As for storage damaging the chemical, if you protect it from heat, light and air you should be fine consuming it a few days later though some product may precipitate out whether it is codeine or acetaminophen is anyone guess. I am not knowledgable in codeine extractions, so hopefully someone else will have an answer in that area. trannyboy |

Re: codeine storage
SWIM has stored his CWE mixture for over a month and still felt the effects, like Trannyboy said, just keep it cold and dark. It shouldn't really make much difference over such a short amount of time, but keeping it in the freezer would work even better.
