Drug info - Weakening LSD

SWIM is not asking this because he wants to cut drugs.

SWIM is looking forward to his first acid experience, a friend of SWIM's has obtained some very pure LSD, he let a few experienced trippers try it out and each single one said it was far too strong and it left several people completely different, the doses are huge. The guy is now refusing to give it to anyone until he makes it less pure, because dosing is difficult to determine for a drop.

Would dropping it a sweet or sugar cube and splitting it work?

SWIM understands LSD is quite a volatile(forgive me if that's the wrong word) compound that can easily be destroyed by the wrong conditions.

Is there any way of acurately dosing in micrograms as this is very difficult. SWIM does not want to take the insanely high doses other people have tried for a first experience.

I tried searching but I couldn't find a thread on this sorry if it's been asked or explained.
