Drug info - potentiate concerta

SWIM obtained a prescription for 36mg concerta. He was wondering what he could do to potentiate it's effects. He used to buy adderall from friends and would eat a few tums an hour beforehand and would take magnesium to reduce his tolerance. Do these work with methylphenidate as well as adderall? Is there anything else I can do to increase concerta's effectiveness?

SWIM has been taking concerta for about 4 years now and is also interested in figuring out if there is anyway to potentiate the effects. The first thing SWIM would do is http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/loc...5208&catid=142 watch this video. This video shows how to cut the pill and remove the extended release mechanism. This will make it considerably more potent however the effect will be shorter lived. hope that helped. SWIM would also recommend looking into the drug focalin. It is similiar to concerta however much easier to crush. SWIM is prescribed both for ADD and prefers focalin to concerta.

SWIM has concerta and ritalin, knows about focalin/ focalin xr (dextrorotary isomer of methylphenidate, compared to the racemic concerta/rit) but cannot get it as of now.
SWIMs concerta are from israel, small yellow enteric coated pills-54mg- does anyone have experience on crushing these effectively?
