Other - Is it possible for GABA To Cross the Brain Blood Barrier ?

Swim says hi to everyone. Since Swim can not get GBL or GHB (heavily
restricted) swim thinks of a different approch.

Swim can get GABA easily but understand that it does not cross the
brain blood barrier. Swim also knows that making GHB or GBL from
GABA is quite impossible at home.

Swim also know that GBL and GHB must never be mix
with alcohol and other anti-depressant as the consequence is grave.

How about diluting GABA into alcohol (96%, food grade) ?
since alcohol is a common solvent it basically will bond with GABA.
Then swim can mix the alcohol with water making the solution of 1%-2% alcohol (that contain GABA).

Surely swim thinks that the alcohol can help bring the GABA cross the
Brain Blood Barrier.

Does it sounds right or just plain dangerous ? and cause bodily harm
like death ?
Swim does not know wheter GABA can be mix with alcohol and wheter the alcohol can be mixed with water (while it retain the gaba).

No you gotta make it into GHB or GBL, it's actually not that hard...

Hi hands clean, swim don't think swim can do the process it is quite complicated.

A little history about swim, at the age of 24 swim experience hairloss
and like every other normal guy swim try to combat it using various
hair tonics, shampoos and other formulas to no avail.

On the last resort swim meet with a doctor who prescribe Finasteride to
combat hair loss at dose 1 mg a day. Swim was explained that a few man
develop side effect like ED and loss of libido (during taking the drug) but
swim was assure that the side effect will go away if swim discontinue
taking the drug (finasteride).

Being folish and naive swim believed tha doctor and began taking 1mg
of finasteride everyday. The first 6 months nothing really happened
swim felt great, hair loss is reduced tremendously, no ED and libido is fine.
But after 6 months swim begun experiencing loss of libido not significantly
but it is progessing until it bacame a full blown ED couple with no libido.
During this time swim also experience other negative side effect (which
is really serius at least to swim). Swim develop a huge anxiety, brain fog,
insomnia.

Suddenly swim changed from a normal guy who like to go out with
friend to a paranoid and nervous wreck. After about one year on the drugs
swim quit cold turkey. The ED and Loss libido did improve although it is not
100% like before taking the drug. But the anxiety and insomnia persist.

After swim going to countless doctor who performed various tests (hormones (Testos, Estrogen LH, FSH), liver, kidney, tyroid test etc) all
the test alwyas comes back within the range in other words swim is fine
according to thess doctors. Swim was not happy and decided to research
the condition, shockingly swim found a small group of people who were
inflicted by pretty much the same problem (some man suffer even more
serious problems)

It seems that taking anti DHT drug has alter something in swims brain
permanetly. swim and other like swim has gather a few study about the
drug and it seems that finasteride has a negative effect on GABA
receptor on the brain (hopefully it is not permanent).

A few of swim friend with the same condition had been taking GHB (they
lived in US) and have been feeling some DRAMATIC RECOVERY, improved
attention, no brain fog, sleep better, more outgoing feeling, improve
in libido and ED. These people do not take GHB 24/7 but only to
help them go to sleep due to their insomnia problem. Swim at the
moment is taking xanax wich prescribe by doctor and it help with
swims sleep but swim still experience light sleep not deep sleep that
swim used to have (swim really missed them).

Currently swim is no longer have anxiety, ed problem and loss of libido.
But swim is still insomnia, without the help of xanax swim could not
go to sleep.

Please help since swim could not get GBL, GHB, even phenibut is not
available here. Is my question regarding GABA in my first post seems
plausible ? sorry for the long story

Swim also forget to mention that majority of people who use finasteride
(anti DHT) drugs do not have problems with them, they do not experience
side effect.

Only a small (very small numbers) of men developed permanent side effect, maybe it is due to genetic factors.

Well if GABA could cross the blood brain barrier and get swim high I'd pry shoot myself after all the work swim put into this thread-

Are you 100% on that claim and the resultant possible effects of alcohol "bonded" GABA?

I think SWIY is making a rather large assumption about what might happen to GABA floating in an alcohol solution.

yes swim doesnt think that the GABA being dissolved in alcohol will have any effect on its ability to cross the blood brain barrier. it doesnt matter what type of solution it is in. it just will not cross the blood brain barrier.

GABA even when it is mix with alcohol can not cross the blood brain barrier.

Hands clean that is one damm good procedures, it is very detailed.
