People who have drugs in their life dont want to fuck around. They just want to chill.

I hereby declare that aliens are the ones who made drugs socially unaccepted and illegal with a probe somehow, to see what would happen. That was ages ago, so maybe they took a hike and forgot about us, man.

Or they're waiting for us to sort ourselves out. Just for argument.

well some drugs, i mean ive seen some mean crazy people on amps at
times. Amps would make the rule crazy dumbasses in congress even
worse in some cases. Hell we might even get another hitler on our
hands. But if weed and 99% of other drugs were free, the world
would be happier.

There are some south American tribes who use hallucinogens to foster a fighting mood before combat. Were not all hippies you know.

Drugs have been legal for all of World history (except recently). How much peace then?


Certainly it sounds good: If everyone could get wasted without worrying about Big Brother busting us, life would get simple, and peaceful. (Actually it might be true if we could get everyone High. The problem is, the people who need it the most, aren't doin' it.)


But Marijuana was legal until 1937, and LSD until about 1970, and AMT until the last year or so. One thing though, it would bring a kind of peace to all of the illegal drug users: No DEA.


The World is not peaceful. The World has never been totally peaceful (at least in the last few thousand years). There are always disagreements, if not between countries, then between people.


But drugs help me create my own little world. And my world is full of peace. Others find peace in their own worlds. I am happy that (regardless of whether drugs are legal or not) I can get the drugs I want, which make my life peaceful. What a great world.

If everyone took a hit of DMT at the same time, the world would technically be at peace for about 15 minutes. That'd be the closest we'd get.


Legality of drugs would just take away a few headaches. People will always fight.

only if you addicted to it. SWIM uses it for mainly for ADD, it helps him focus on things like reading, but also, SWIM occasionaly takes it because it helps bring out the creativity in him, and makes expressing his thoughts alot easier. He likes to take a recreational dose every now and then and talk philosophy.

If you think about it there can really be no such thing as pure peace. Almost everywhere we look in life there is a balance always trying to create an equilibrium. I think there will always be that other side of the spectrum, the best we can hope for is nutrality or something close. With certain mind expanding drugs legalized sure the logical thing to say is a more open society, but there will always be scumbags in the equation, unfortunatly thats what the media likes to focus on.
