codeine doses

Hello, swim used codeine for the first time the other day and besides some morphine swim was given in hospital once, swim has never used any other opiate type drug.

swim cold water extracted 300mg of codeine, then drank, other then feeling a little numbish swim does not remember having that euphouric feeling. Is swims dose high enough to get that feeling?

swims main reason for trying codeine is swim thinks it would be good to take it on come down from other drugs swim takes (coke, mdma, speed)
Has swiy ever tried this and does he think its a good idea?
