Effects - the effects of mdma on your heart rate

i've heard that lsd, magic mushrooms and mdma can all have an effect on your heart rate (ie speeding it up) and that this could be a problem if you have a weak heart for example.
but what i want to know is, how much does it speed it up by? a noticeable amount? because alcohol supposedly increases your heart rate aswell, and while it might do, it's not particularly noticeable.
when people say lsd etc increases your heart rate is it in the same way as alcohol?

SWIM always notices for about a 5 minute interval when coming up a increased and hard heartbeat. Never felt concerned by the pace.
