Dose - Would SWIY take the same ammount of oxycocet as oxycotin?

SWIM wants to know if th effects are basically the same... SWIM found a dealer at work who gets it cheap :P. My other topic was deleted is there a way to found out why? (it was on a different subject by the way)

Oxycet has Acetaminophen in it. So, they're going to want to be careful of how much they take without first removing the Acetaminophen. A typical Oxycet has 5mg of Oxycodone HCl and 325 of Acetaminophen.

Whoops meant to say the other way around SWIM has been taking oxycocet and now found someone with oxycotin (typical oxycocet dose = 20-25mg)

Oxycontin contains the same active drug Oxycodone, however it is in a time-release tablet, a 20mg Oxycontin tablet will deliver 20mg Oxycodone into your system over a 12hr period. The same tablet crushed will deliver the same amount of drug, but it will be delivered faster. Also there is no APAP in Oxycontin.

So will the peak of Oxyxotin be the same as normal? Since it is over a 12 hour period are you less high during that 12 hour, just longer lasting? and if crushed will effect come on quicker and still last 12 hours?

Oxycontin releases Oxycodone in a slow, steady fashion. The peak gotten from a 20mg Oxycontin will be lower than 20mg Instant release Oxycodone, the peak will however be maintained for a longer period.
It's a kind of trade off, if the time Increases then the peak Decreases and visa-versa. Crushing Oxycontin will increase the peak, but it will reduce the time of this peak.
Crushing Oxycontin will not fully defeat the time release system, so the maximum peak reached would still be slightly lower than say 4*5mg Oxycocets.

i know oxycodone is oxycodone and the only real difference is the fillers and binders of the corresponding pills and the lack of acetaminophen in OCs....but SWIM has always found that oxycocets provide a better buzz

That's because APAP DOES have a synergy effect w/ oxy.

Try taking some APAP (2 x 325 mg tablets should do.. that's a safe dose as well) and see how it feels. Ideally you should be filtering out some of the apap in oxy/apap pills since 1.3 grams is pretty borderline.

Try letting the crushed oxycontin sit in water for a few days, that'll probably fully defeat the time release, since all the drug will dissolve.

depending on the brand of the pill you caN suck the time release off and then snort it to get a much better high imo oxycodone with no apap is much better than with it
if you crush it up REALLY finely you don't have to suck it off but you will need to use a razor to get it as fine as you need to also the time release coating doesn't really taste that bad just suck it off then wipe the pill on something to wipe it off

fuck APAP that shit will be enemy #1 when you reach the higher levels of opiate addiction
