Adderall XR is generic
I just got a generic Adderall XR (April). The 20mg are orange capsules that read M Amphet Salts. Just a heads up for anybody.

I just got 30mg XR generics...same discription...almost look like the real ones.

Yep the generic XR just came out. For some reason the generic is more expensive than the name brand, at least with swim's insurance.

Swim did not get it because it was considerably more money than the name brand. Swim thought this was odd, usually generic prescriptions are dirt cheap for swim.

Huh, that is strange. All SWIM's prescriptions are generic and they are far cheaper.

Follow up:

This time the generic was cheaper, something must have been messed up with the insurance last time. So swim got the generic version. Swim says there is no noticeable difference in effects between the name brand and the generic. Also, the generic looks almost identical to the name brand. The capsule is the same size and color, but says "M. Amphet Salts" instead of "Adderall" on the capsule. Hope this helps.

swim saw this today too. weird, because one generic was mixed in with the batch of name brands..

Swim just got her first script of adderall 20 mg xr filled and hers were the brand name ones. I have never heard of a generic costing more than a name brand before. I find that to be very odd.
