Music that sends shivers up your spine
Sometimes i'll listen to a song and it'll just make me come over all queer (lol) and i'll get tingles running up my spine and into my arms (while NOT on any drug), how many of you all get this? and which songs REALLY do it for you, time and time again? Here are a couple of mine:
Chemical brothers: 'Golden path', 'under the influence', 'believe', 'marvo ging', 'star guitar'and acouple of others (esp at high volume) Bloc Party: 'so here we are' (ahhh the bit where it all kicks in especially) Can't think of any others right now but i might post some later, i'm listening to that 'so here we are' right now and its happening again ![]() (no posting that i've got shit taste in music please) Last edited by ~lostgurl~; 18-08-2007 at 03:00. How about instead of telling us what you don't like, you tell us what you do like, answering my questions at the top maybe? ![]() Bloc Party don't wear dinner suits... |

Theres a few for me but right now all I can think of is "Sex, Drugs, & Rock & Roll" by Guns N' Roses. When I get into the song I always get chills/thingles.

I get that all the time! DJ Poseidon 'SupertransSonic' does it every time (Timo Maas mix), 'Anytime' by Lustral, 'My Sweet Shadow' by InFlames...usually a song will evoke a mental image that makes me really happy, then Ill get the serotonin rush. ![]() Mezza |

motorcycle - as the rush comes
amoebaassassin - piledriver (grayed out summer mix) chemical brothers - the test chemical brothers - where do i begin yellowcard - rough draft (depends on my mood, but this can trigger a strong emotional and then physical response in me) must be at high volume so you can feel the music i know there are more, but those are the ones that come to me off the top of my head <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> |

I don't want to come back - Mario Piu
I was attending an afterhours club in Vancouver the other week. Whilst on the dancefloor, a track that the DJ put into his mix came blasting over the speakers. I was literally so awestruck by the song that I stopped moving, and stood on the dancefloor seemingly paralyzed, while the bass blew my hair back with every beat.
Anyway, after extensive searching, and much difficulty, I found the song... It’s called “I Don’t Want To Come Back” by Mario Piu, and I must say, it's one of the better drug related (i think) tracks that I've heard. Almost any raver, I'm betting, can relate to its words. It's kind of a darkish trance/electronic genre, and the lyrics are as follows: I don't wanna come back down from this cloud It's taken me all this time to get high But even as my heart beat screams out loud Sunlight breaks like glass in my eyes The track played at the afterhours was the mas mix. The andrea-doria mix - I like the funky dark effects near the end If anyone is interested in discussing music with me, feel free to give me a PM. I listen to electronic and trance mostly, although I was an avid metal fan for the past 6 years. Fav metal artists include Opeth, In Flames, Dream Theater, Tool. Fav trance/electronic include Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, Yahel Sherman, Prodigy. I’m always hungry for new tunes..... Last edited by ~lostgurl~; 18-08-2007 at 02:21. Reason: prefix |

At first it sounded kinda cheesy, but when I cranked up the volume to the "angry neighbour" level it was really good! Awesome base!

Listening to it now - good dirty electro! A bit cheesy, but a fine cheese! Mas mix reminds me a bit of Agoria. Like it a lot!
