Anodized aluminum?

SWIM was wondering if a heavy duty, non-teflon (Caphlon) anodized aluminum pan could be used for making the brew. SWIM knows that it can stain regular aluminum, but SWIMS pans are already very very dark, and staining is not an issue. Is there any other reason that aluminum should be avoided?
