Storing - GBL stored in a plastic container?

Is it safe to store gbl in a plastic water bottle if the same gbl were later going to be consumed? Swim is aware that it comes in a specially treated plastic container sometimes, but what could potentially happen if it was stored in a water bottle (besides some idiot drinking it, dont worry swim always puts food coloring)? Supposedly gbl might break down the plastic and drinking plastic isn't very good. Any insights?
