USA - DUI cost and lawyer cost

Swim was busted with a DUI and was wondering how much to expect to pay a lawyer on average for a DUI case. Just looking to get an idea to not get ripped off as swim has no idea how much lawyers go for. Also on average what is the usually total cost of a DUI with fines. TIA

Oh ya to get a better Idea on cost swim is located in the upstate NY region as swim know that urban areas usually charge more.
