Howmuch cannabis does swim have to have on them to get done for posession with intent to supply?

Swim picked up about £xxx worth of weed because swim and lots of swims friends were going to a party, and swims friends paid swim a good deal over the price of the weed in order to get hold of some.

It dawned on swim as he was drivinghome that he had a crap tonne of weed on him, and was wondering if he was pulled over, would it be confiscated, or would he be taken in?

Swim wasnt baked when driving and didnt have anything else on him, besides a big smelly proof bag with the 5 8th bags in.
Im guessing it would be a definate pull in if swim had tonnes of cash on him and some scales. But swim just had the weed.

Swims just curious about Uk law surrounding possession with intent to sell.
Swim does sell the odd bit now and again, but normally only has 2 8'th's at a time on him.

I couldnt find anything online about laws with intent to sell, only the amount of time youd get for it. Can someone clear it up for me?

if you had all ya weed in one bag, then you wouldent go down for the amount you had, as you could say it is personal and your just a chronic smoker.

but as they were all bagged up, yeah if you got caught youd get quite a few questions

Well, it was a hypothetical situation so swiy shouldnt worry about it

Well, swim is going to be sensible from now on. Everywhere swim goes to pick up, he's going to walk. And if its too far to walk, then swims only going to get small amounts.

What kind of questions would swim get if he was stopped and it was found? (say, 3 small bags). How could swim talk his way out of it?

depending on who has caught swiy, they might ask questions to try catch swiy out, so that it looks worse than it is (make it look like your dealing, instead of just possesing), but generally if swiy got less than bout 3 oz, its all in one bag, and you havent been caught before, you will just get a caution.


swim always carrys his herb in one bag, and just weighs it out when needed, plus prebagging is bad for ya weed anyways .

Driving is ok, but keep it on your person, not in the car. Its much easier in law to search the car or belongings in it than to search you. Anyone carrying drugs would be wise to make sure they know their rights with regards to the Police.

If SWIY gets caught, don't enter into any discussion on the subject and get legal advice. I'm not really sure that it matters whether your gear is in one baggie or several, but if in doubt play it safe.

People have got away with 9ounces on them as long as it's in one bag, no scales are found or large amounts of cash, then most amounts can be claimed as personal.

Don't carry any baggies
Don't carry scales
Don't carry lot's of cash
Keep it in one lump
Keep your mouth shut.
And you will get away with little more than a slap on the wrist.
