Codeine by SC route

SWIM is really tempted by taking codeine by SC (subcutaneous), cos she read in a serious book that codeine injected has the same effects and properties as morphine. She knows to inject codeine by IV is pretty dangerous but she thinks SC can be safe. Is she right ?
