Experiences - A weird and SCARY experience (Dextromethorphan, Diphenhydramine and Alcohol)

I'm sorry I know this is long, but SWIM would REALLY appreciate it if you guys let him know what you think and why this happened.

So yesterday SWIM drank a 40oz bottle of bud light (mostly irrelevant i think). A few years later when SWIM wasn't feeling the buzz of the alcohol much anymore and SWIM proceeded to drink half a bottle of cough syrup, an hour later when SWIM didn't feel much so he proceeded to drink the rest of the bottle containing a total of 365 mg of DEX between the 2 taken doses. Swim only felt a little bit after about an hour and he found some Benadryl lying around. SWIM took a total of 16 Benadryl to get a cool trip going and 2 No-Doz to help stay awake. It wasn't until about a half hour later that SWIM realized how hard the cough syrup hit him. Once the Benadryl kicked in SWIM was COMPLETELY fucked. SWIM was just playing video games when he turned his head to look at the clock and realized that his vision was delayed and the entire room was spinning and breathing extremely hardcore. SWIM proceeded to walk to his room about a half hour later to lie down, watch TV, and text his friend. About 20 minutes later swim was having a lot of trouble texting his friend because his vision started to blur and he couldn't see the keys on his phone. This is where the WEIRD FUCKING THINGS started happening. When swim would look at the text he was writing, the words in the text started changing into other words and completely not making any sens at all. Random words like "thanks" would chance into words like "kitty", that was the only one that SWIM specifically remembers. After swim got too tired to stay awake, he tried to fall asleep. It was more of a half sleep where he was still concious, but felt like he was dreaming. At this point SWIM could not decipher dream from reality. Heres where it gets FUCKED UP. Swim was still trying to text his friend, and he would look down and see his phone in his hands, but when he would try to text, his phone would start to float up in the air away from his hands, through the ceiling and disappear (this happened at least 5 times). He could also see things moving outside his window. SWIM then though he saw his step sister next to his bed and tried to talk to her. He said a few words and she disappeared. Now, the scariest thing SWIM had EVER seen in his life happened, he looked up, and saw a girl kneeling on his ceiling curled into a ball, and SWIM could hear the sound of her weeping. She was there for about 10 seconds before she disappeared. SWIM then thought that he saw his chair floating next to his bed. At this point, SWIM was SCARED and tried his hardest to go to bed. Some other visuals that SWIM cannot specifically remember also happened, but basically SWIM can't figure out why this was so intense and scary and would like to know if anyone could possibly tell him why and if anyone else has had an experience like SWIM's. Also, swim isn't usually into taking a bunch of over the counter medicines, he just had absolutely nothing to do that night. He also did't have the proper materials on hand to extract the DXM from the cough medicine and he knows how bad things like this are for him.
