Effects - Stomach pains from morphine

My friend snorted 30mg of morphine sulfate this afternoon around 1pm. He started to come down a few hours later and his stomach has been hurting really bad ever since. It's been about 7 or 8 hours and his stomach still feels like it's tied in a knot. Is there any way to make this go away? He tried drinking milk, taking a bath, and taking some pepto bismol but nothing works.

Well, he just ran to the bathroom and barfed. It wasn't like some easy drunk barfing either, that was some excorcist shit. He had to flush the toilet twice while he was still barfing cuz the toilet was getting full. Anyways, he feels better now. He still has a few morphine pills left that he wants to take, so is there another way to stop the stomach pains? He said if he has to go through this every time then morphine just isn't worth it.

Edit: Oh, by the way, this was the second time he's ever done morphine. He did 50mg once last year and had the same results.
Edit: I forgot to mention earlier that I have a high natural tolerance to every opioid I've ever done. If it weren't for the nausea I could've easily done another 30mg pill or two.

Your friend cant expect to have a tolerance to such a high dose for his second time.

Stomach pains come along with every opiate experience, its just something you learn to tolerate and get over if you wanna continue using.

Spasm of the Sphincter of Odi?

There is a possibility that these stomach pains are spasms in your stomach. The sphincter of odi, no it's not a film?

The sphincter of odi is a muscular valve that transfers bile to the duodenum (Upper gut) Morphine and other opiates can sometimes cause this muscle and other muscles in the GI tract to relax or have spasms, this blocks and stops the flow of bile causing pain, excess build up of bile could also cause vomiting.
Hopefully this spasm will pass, however prolonged spasms can be harmful if not treated medically.
