Amphetamines and MDMA: The Brain's Structural Abnormalities from Abuse

Article Published: 2008

This is a pretty hefty study/review of amphetamines, and the the structural abnormalities that result from regular abuse of amphetamines. It is 26 pages long, and has a pretty thorough discussion of the uses, neurotoxicity, and structural abnormalities of amphetamines.

The second half of the article discusses MDMA on similar topics, but include other topics such as sex differences, and even white (myelin) vs. grey (neuronal) matter abnormalities.
