SWIM has recently started using narcotics and prefers them to everything else; however, he is still a noobie and has lots of questions.

SWIM has done research about the dangers of using narcotic pills through IV but wanted to know the pros and cons of an IM route. Specifically, SWIM was wondering if he came across more typical prescription pills such as codeine, oxy, percocet, etc and safest way (if possible) to IM them. Or is it even worth SWIM's effort and should he just swallow them?
