LSD use in public
It took SWIM a while to get used to the idea that when she was tripping was not written on her forehead. Once SWIM got over her fear she found that being amongst the straights on acid can be rather fun. She does not suggest this for newbie’s. She has noticed that the strangest most surreal things happen while under the influence of LSD. Real world things not hallucinations. There also seems to be no shortage of people acting stranger than you feel.
SWIM was relocating a tripping party to a friend’s house a few blocks away. This was at three a clock in the morning a group of 12 walking through the neighborhood and this guys car horn (not the alarm) starts blaring non-stop for no reason. The guy comes running out in his robe and there are 12 people standing in the street just staring at his car. No one had the sense to keep walking so they just stood there. Everyone must have looked scary because he turned right around and walked back in the house.
SWIM was at a party tripping and she started to feel some unpleasant vibes so she got all paranoid and freaked. She went outside and was talked down by a friend. SWIMs friend convinced her everything was "o.k." and as they went to go back inside a guy in drag with 6" heels, fishnets, the whole shebang and who also happened to have a full beard and mustache came around the building and stopped to talk to them. SWIM started the whole freak out again and had to run back inside because she was laughing uncontrollably.
SWIM has had this happen so many times she thinks the chemicals conjure these things up on its own.
So in your opinion: LSD is it a magnet for weirdness? SWIM would also love to hear about any trips the SWIMmers have taken to weirdsville.
In addition, remember just when you think you are the strangest thing happening someone will come along and upstage you.
